Justin R. Reese, widely known as J.R., is a dynamic and accomplished CEO with a proven track record in the utility industry, currently serving as Co-Founder and CEO of JNR Solutions, LLC. With over a decade of extensive experience leading multi-million dollar projects, J.R. is a results-oriented leader who excels at motivating teams to achieve both business and individual goals while prioritizing a “Customer First” philosophy.


J.R. has a deep understanding of operations management, project management, and construction processes, as well as a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance. His strategic acumen enables him to identify opportunities for business growth and customer retention, making him an invaluable asset to any organization.

Before founding JNR Solutions in 2023, J.R. served as Director of Operations at PMI Energy Solutions, where he managed daily operations for over 200 employees on complex projects spanning several U.S. states. His leadership resulted in significant cost savings, including a $500,000 reduction in operational inefficiencies through the reorganization of internal processes. J.R. is adept at engaging with customers and vendors alike, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget while fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion among contracted crews.


Earlier in his career, J.R. honed his skills as a First Line Supervisor at ComEd, where he directed overhead line construction and maintenance activities, managed project budgets, and developed strong client relationships. His ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high performance standards was key to his success.


J.R. has completed several professional training programs, including “Growing a Minority Business to Scale” at Dartmouth College and various certifications in supervisory development and safety protocols.
